We don’t settle until we give our best and know that we’re making a difference. <br><br>Jacobs is seeking a dynamic <strong>Senior Water Technical Specialist</strong> to join our team with the Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) business. As a <strong>Senior Water Technical Specialist,</strong> you’ll assume a leading role on special projects performing Project Development Evaluations and Full Contract Operation (FCO) reviews. You’ll provide client and business development support, evaluate facilities and suggest improvements to operations personnel and/or design engineers, assist with the startup, development of operational guides and perform training and performance evaluations for new facilities. You’ll also analyze process control procedures and recommend changes where needed; prepare monthly reports to the Director of Technical Specialists on utilization, work summaries and work projections; review designs for operability; perform project follow up reviews to determine client satisfaction with past service and develop recommendations on the need for future service; and prepare or assist in the preparation of proposals.<br><br>Bring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, and we’ll help you grow what drives you – and deliver the world’s most challenging Operations Management projects, together.<br><br><ul><li>this position will require at least 25% travel.<br><br><br></li></ul>#omfs #ourjacobs #challengeaccepted<br><br>Here's what you'll need<br><br><ul><li> Fifteen (15) years of experience in operation and maintenance of water/wastewater treatment plant facilities</li><li> Water Operator License or ability to obtain within one year of employment</li><li> Experience in budget preparation and financial accountability</li><li> Six (6) years of experience in a supervisory capacity</li><li> Experience with technical writing, prepare and give presentations</li><li> Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite</li><li> Ability to travel 25% of the time</li><li> Valid State Driver’s License with no major infractions<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Ideally, You’ll Also Have<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s Degree</li><li> Water Process Database experience (HACH Wims)</li><li> International work experience</li><li> Extensive knowledge of methods to reduce operating costs of a treatment plant through efficiency in energy consumption, chemical addition, staffing strategies and solids disposal</li><li> Previous successful experience providing staff leadership, communication, staff assignments, and developing staff capabilities</li><li> Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, and strong technical problem-solving skills<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Working Conditions<br><br></strong>Safety is a core value at Jacobs.
