Smarte Carte is focused on being environmentally responsible by owning/operating recyclable equipment and reducing our carbon footprint.<br><br><strong>BASIC FUNCTION<br><br></strong>Ensure daily operational performance goals are met by providing direct/tactical leadership for the labor force in the passenger terminal areas through service, maintenance, collections, and communication, to improve productivity, vend quality, and the customer experience.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads. </li><li>Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment. </li><li>Perform the same Cart Associate work duties as those supervised, including but limited to:</li><ul><li>collect and transport carts to ensure carts are available for customer use;</li><li>provide customer service to airport passengers;</li><li>light cleaning of carts and rental equipment;</li></ul><li>Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems. </li><li>Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly. </li><li>Explain regulations, policies, or procedures</li><li>Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints</li><li>Maintain excellent communication and cooperation with employees, facility management, airline management and other government officials (CBP, TSA, FBI, etc.)</li><li>Inspect equipment; carts, CMU’s, Cushman’s, etc., perform emergency maintenance or take equipment out of service, report maintenance needs</li><li>Assist with collections, counting/recording money, documenting meter readings</li><li>Assess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide appropriate instruction</li><li>Other duties as assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Motivating, developing, and directing employees, identifying the best employees for the job</li><li>Managing one's own time and the time of others</li><li>Technologically adept and receptive to learn computer-based reporting tools</li><li>Maintains an enthusiastic and positive "Can Do" attitude, that fosters teamwork and unity</li><li>Ability to stay poised and professional in high pressure situations</li><li>Capable of focusing on the “Big Picture” rather than immediate short-term effects</li><li>Ability to apply the appropriate level of workplace flexibility</li><li>Receptive to criticism and feedback from your team in order to improve the operation</li><li>High degree of integrity and self-discipline</li><li>Ability to effectively analyze data and problem solve situations based on available information</li><li>Capable of teaching others to perform specific tasks; selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things. </li><li>Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action</li><li>Strong interpersonal & communication skills</li><li>Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment<br><br></li></ul><strong>Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Proven leadership skills; previous supervisor experience preferred</li><li>Cash control experience preferred</li><li>General knowledge of vended service products preferred<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Computer and Smart Phone proficient</li><li>Excellent customer service</li><li>Effective communication in English<br><br></li></ul><strong>CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to get Airport Badge is required</li><li>Drivers License is required<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physicial Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lift 40lbs</li><li>Push/pull 75lbs</li><li>Walk & stand for duration of shift</li></ul>
