Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement strategies for enforcing regulations and laws. Monitor industry trends and changes in laws and regulations to identify potential areas of non-compliance. Communicate with businesses and individuals to gather information and address any compliance concerns. Maintain accurate and organized records of investigations and enforcement actions. Use investigative techniques such as surveillance, interviews, and data analysis to gather evidence. Utilize knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to ensure appropriate enforcement actions are taken. Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve results. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures for enforcement activities. Represent the Department of Commerce professionally and ethically in all interactions with the public and business community. Stay current on industry best practices and developments in the field of enforcement and compliance.
