Cyber Security (Entry Level)

Job Summary:
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Cyber Security Analyst to help protect the organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
- The candidate will assist in monitoring security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and supporting security compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities.
- Support incident response and threat analysis activities.
- Perform basic security assessments and risk analysis.
- Maintain and update security tools, antivirus, and firewalls.
- Help enforce security policies and best practices.
- Conduct log analysis and monitor network traffic.
- Prepare security reports and documentation.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP\/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with cyber security concepts:
- Malware.
- Phishing.
- Vulnerability Management.
- SIEM tools.
- Endpoint Security.
- Basic understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with tools like:
- Wireshark.
- Nessus.
- Splunk.
- Nmap.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

Certifications are a plus:
- CompTIA Security+.
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).
- Google Cybersecurity Certificate.

Experience:
- Freshers \/ 0–1 year experience.
- Internship or academic cybersecurity project experience preferred.

- Rotational shifts may apply for SOC monitoring.
- Hybrid \/ On-site \/ Remote, depending on organization needs.
